Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website of Tidy Tribe Cleaning ("Tidy Tribe", "we", "us", "our"), a cleaning company operating in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By requesting a quote, booking a cleaning, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Quotes and Bookings

Online booking requests are quote requests: no payment is taken at booking, and no appointment is final until we confirm it with you.
Quotes are based on the information you provide (property size, condition, and services requested). If your home's condition differs materially from what was described, we may adjust the quote before starting work.
We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online self-serve booking covers Monday to Saturday; Sunday, evening and overnight cleans are arranged by phone and are subject to cleaner availability.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellations

You may reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled clean.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or inability to access the property at the scheduled time, may incur a $30 short-notice fee.
We may occasionally need to reschedule due to weather, illness, or other circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer the next available time.

4. Access and Home Preparation

You are responsible for providing safe access to the property at the scheduled time (in person, key, lockbox, or entry code).
Please secure pets and store away valuables, cash, and fragile heirlooms before our arrival.
Our teams cannot move heavy furniture or appliances, clean exterior windows above ground level, or handle biohazardous materials.

5. Satisfaction

Your satisfaction comes first. If you are not happy with any area we cleaned, let us know within 48 hours of your appointment and we will work with you to make it right. Refunds, where offered, are at our discretion and limited to the amount paid for the affected visit.

6. Payment

Payment is due after each visit is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept major credit cards (processed securely through Stripe), e-transfer, and cash.
Overdue invoices may be subject to a late payment charge, and we may pause service on accounts with outstanding balances.

7. Liability

All Tidy Tribe cleaners are background-checked before joining our team.
If accidental damage occurs during a clean, notify us within 48 hours and we will work with you to repair or replace the item.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the cleaning visit giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or items not disclosed as fragile.

8. Recurring Service

Recurring plans (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) continue until you cancel, which you can do at any time with at least 24 hours' notice before your next visit. Preferred recurring rates assume continued service; a final one-time rate may apply to your last visit if a plan is cancelled immediately after a discounted clean.

9. Our Team

Our cleaners are the heart of Tidy Tribe. You agree not to directly hire or solicit a Tidy Tribe team member introduced to you through our service for private cleaning work during your service relationship with us and for 12 months afterwards.

10. Website Use

Content on this website (text, images, branding) belongs to Tidy Tribe Cleaning and may not be reproduced without permission. We work hard to keep information accurate, but the website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, sitting in Calgary.
